![]() June 2nd, 1944 200 B-17 aircraft, flying from air bases in southern Italy, tasked with the bombing of military installations situated in Hungary. The Bf110 wallows through the air pretty badly with bombs on though. I just wish it were a bit easier for tanks to take out the enemy AAA on the non-Karelia maps. The stuka does, hypothetically, have the best accuracy available and the largest individual bomb size. The stuka has air-to-air, but it's comparatively weak until you get to the D-5 with 2x 20 mm in tier 2 (and by then you could be turning the early Bf 109s or Fw 190 into Jabos (fighter bombers). The He 111 isn't nimble enough for active tanks (but you could paint an entire zone being capped). #War thunder crossplay plus#Overall, the Russians seem to have the easier setup (the BB-1 is speedy enough that level bombing at low altitude can work, plus it has decent air-to-air capability). They also have the SB series, but I haven't actually tried anything with them. #War thunder crossplay series#The Su series is basically a fancier BB-1.Īlmost every Russian fighter can also mount rockets (for shooting down enemy bombers or potentially trying your luck against a tank). 6x 100 kg should be enough for a base, but you could also drop a few on targets on the way over. The Russian BB-1 also works fairly well and can defend itself from enemy aircraft with 4 nose MGs. The MC 200s will give you a little parity with the LaGG 3s with their 50 cals. The He 51s aren't going to get you much, usually. The He 112 (fighters) are relatively lackluster, but you can at least use the one with 20 mm. Hold for 3-4 seconds, drop when ready, pull up). If you manage to get to 3000 m, a stuka dive bomb is ridiculously easy - cut throttle, throw on the dive brake and point 90 degrees straight down at the ground. You also have the Stuka B-2 and R-2, which top out at 5 kg respectively. German tier 1 has the He 111, which can get you 32x 50 kg or 8x 250 kg bombs (a direct hit with a 50 kg should be more than enough to kill any tank at that tier, but you do need to actually hit the tank). But judging by how that beta went, maybe I'm overestimating their abilities.I'm not sure where this tier 1 complaining is coming from though. So is it just that Sony is so technically incompetent that they can't implement crossplay even when technical capabilities are already proven or is it that they're intentionally slowing down implementation of something that their own customers say they want or is it that we can't take them at face value about their intentions and beliefs? Sure shouldn't be as hard as name changes. I don't think anyone in this thread is saying that crossplay is a bad thing, and if we believe Sony at face value, then they agree too. I think I am allowed to doubt that it is a GOOD business case and I think we are also all allowed to say we don't care either way about Sony's business case. I have no doubt that Sony has a business case for not allowing Crossplay. I feel like I'm not normally so harsh, but it's crazy to me that people are bending over backwards to absolve Sony on this issue, but also feel compelled to downplay the significant pro-consumer strides Microsoft and Nintendo have made this gen (certainly not perfect, but improvement). But judging by how that beta went, maybe I'm overestimating their abilities. Click to shrink.I have no doubt that Sony has a business case for not allowing Crossplay. ![]()
